📄 Abstract
The article considers the role of statistical analysis in the development of the tourism industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Data on tourist flows are analyzed, methods and approaches to statistical analysis of tourism are considered. Scientific literature was analyzed, including the study of works dedicated to the specific features of Uzbek tourism. The study identified the main trends and problems in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan. In the concluding part of the study, recommendations were given on the development of tourism infrastructure, improving its marketing and promoting Uzbekistan as a tourist destination, as well as encouraging domestic tourism and introducing new tourist routes.
