📄 Abstract

This research makes use of secondary data gleaned from financial statements and annual reports to calculate several ratios, including working capital cycle, payables deferral period, current ratio, quick ratio, inventory turnover ratio, receivables turnover ratio, and payables turnover ratio. The results show that the firm keeps its cash situation fairly constant and uses inventory optimization to keep production and R&D running smoothly. A more stringent supervision of credit policies and optimization of supplier relationships are necessary, however, because of fluctuations in the payables and receivables cycles. According to the research, a company's cash flows and ability to compete in the global pharmaceutical industry may be greatly improved by increasing the efficiency of its working capital.
