📄 Abstract
The agricultural sector is a vital part of Indias economy, employing a significant portion of the population and contributing significantly to the countrys GDP. Despite this, the sector faces numerous challenges, including declining soil fertility, water scarcity, and inadequate infrastructure. In addition, farmers face difficulties in accessing markets, credit, and technology. However, the sector also presents opportunities for growth and development, including the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, the use of technology to increase efficiency and productivity, and the creation of value-added products. This analysis highlights key areas where interventions can be made to enhance the sectors productivity, sustainability, and profitability, with a particular focus on addressing the needs of smallholder farmers.
