📄 Abstract

This study explores the potential policy synergies among the BRICS-T countries?Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and Uzbekistan?to achieve digital leadership in the context of Society 5.0. Society 5.0 envisions a super-smart society where digital technologies such as AI, IoT, big data, and robotics are integrated into all aspects of human life to enhance well-being and sustainability. The research examines the current state of digital transformation in BRICS-T countries, identifying opportunities for collaboration in areas such as digital infrastructure, data governance, public-private partnerships, and innovation. The findings reveal that while significant progress has been made, disparities in digital readiness, regulatory inconsistencies, and cybersecurity risks remain. The study concludes that creating harmonized digital policies, investing in infrastructure, and focusing on inclusivity and sustainability will be essential for BRICS-T to collectively lead in the digital economy and contribute to Society 5.0.
